Guidance
Excellent provision is made for education and vocational guidance and for the more specialised personal counselling, where the student is alerted to the choices facing him at various points and is helped with the problems of decision-making. This is the responsibility of the specialist career guidance teacher, but in the wider sense, guidance is always present in that the role of every teacher goes beyond mere instruction and includes helping each pupil to develop a system of values, social awareness, sound judgement and a sense of human dignity and excellence.
